Received two calls from this number on our office line a few months apart, both times it was *Amanda* from the British Columbia Business Development Office. They referenced our street address and asked if we had found a new location to move to. Both times I advised that we were not moving, and they abruptly ended the call. Very suspicious.

Do NOT ever give your SIN out over the phone. I have been called by this scam under a different number as well. You are not being arrested for any federal crimes and the government will never send you any automated messages to “speak fo an officer”.
